Ever since I was a little boy, I've been enthralled with equity, learning all I can, challenging what is, understanding a process, unpacking systemic structures, and pushing a team towards something greater than self. As a first generation college student from a low-income area, making my living as an educator has definitely been a dream come true. I'm proud to have collaborated with some of the most talented educators in our profession. Each day, I strive to make an impact. Each day, I'm looking to learn more. Each day I seek to understand. Every single day, I wake up forever in debt to family, mentors, friends, and colleagues. There is no doubt...higher education saved my life.
